Terms & Conditions
Last updated 15 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of glowupyour.site and any design, build, or maintenance work you engage Glow Up Your Site ("we", "us", "our") to carry out. By using this website or accepting a preview, quote, or proposal from us, you agree to what follows.
What We Do
We design, build, rebuild, and maintain WordPress websites. Every project starts the same way: we rebuild your homepage first, at no cost and with no obligation, so you can look at the actual thing before deciding whether to go ahead.
The Free Preview
- The preview is genuinely free. There is no deposit, no card details, and no contract to sign before you see it.
- We normally deliver a preview within 48 hours of receiving what we need from you. That is a target we work hard to hit, not a guarantee.
- One free preview covers one homepage for one website. Additional pages, second concepts, or reworks of a rejected direction are quoted separately.
- The preview is hosted on our infrastructure for you to review. It stays available for a reasonable period while you decide, after which we may take it down.
- We may decline a preview request, or stop work on one, if the request is abusive, unlawful, a duplicate, or clearly not a genuine enquiry.
Pricing and Payment
- Prices shown on this website are in US dollars and are indicative. The figure that binds either of us is the one in the written quote we send you for your project.
- Payment falls due only after you have seen the preview and asked us to proceed. Payment terms are set out in your quote.
- Any promotional discount is valid only for the period stated in the offer and cannot be combined with another discount unless we say so in writing.
- Taxes, payment processor fees, domain registration, premium plugin licences, stock imagery, and third-party subscriptions are not included unless your quote lists them.
What We Need From You
A build moves at the speed of the slowest input, and that is usually content. You agree to provide, in reasonable time, the text, images, logos, and access credentials the project needs, and you confirm that you own or are licensed to use everything you send us. We are not responsible for delays caused by material arriving late, nor for any claim arising from content you supplied.
Revisions and Scope
Each package includes a defined round of revisions, stated in your quote. Revisions mean refining the agreed direction. Work that changes the agreed scope — new pages, new features, a different design direction after approval — is new work, and we will quote it before starting rather than surprise you with it afterwards.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
- You keep ownership of everything you give us: your content, your logo, your brand, your data.
- Once your project is paid for in full, the custom design and page templates we produced for that project are yours to use, modify, and keep.
- Until payment is made in full, all work we produce — including the free preview — remains our property. A preview is provided for evaluation only and may not be copied, republished, or handed to another developer to build from.
- We keep ownership of the underlying tools, frameworks, code libraries, and internal methods we use across projects. Nothing here transfers those to you, but you get a perpetual licence to use them as part of your site.
- Unless you ask us not to, we may show the finished work in our portfolio and marketing.
Third-Party Software and Services
Websites are built on things we did not write: WordPress itself, page builders, plugins, fonts, hosting, payment providers, and analytics. Those come with their own licences and terms, which you agree to follow. We choose reputable providers, but we cannot be held responsible for a third party changing its pricing, breaking an integration, or ceasing to exist.
Hosting, Maintenance, and Support
Hosting and ongoing maintenance are separate services, included only where your quote says so. Where we do host or maintain a site, we aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service — no honest provider can. Scheduled maintenance is carried out with as little disruption as we can manage.
Cancellation and Refunds
You can walk away at any point before you accept a quote, and you owe us nothing — that is the whole point of the free preview. Once work has started on a paid project, cancellation means paying for the work completed up to that date. Because our work is bespoke and delivered digitally, completed and accepted work is not refundable, although we will always try to put right anything that is genuinely wrong.
Confidentiality
Anything you share with us that is not public — business plans, pricing, credentials, unreleased branding — stays confidential, and we expect the same of anything we share with you. This survives the end of the project.
Acceptable Use of This Website
You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site or its infrastructure, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, scrape it at a volume that degrades service, submit false information through our forms, or use it to distribute unlawful or harmful material. We may block access where we reasonably believe any of this is happening.
Disclaimers
We take performance and search visibility seriously — it is a large part of what you are paying for. Even so, we cannot guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes, conversion rates, or revenue outcomes, because those depend on factors outside anyone's control, including the search engines themselves. Performance figures quoted on this site are illustrative of past work, not a promise about yours. This website and its content are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of business arising from your use of this website or our services. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you have actually paid us for the work in question. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Cookies and Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. You can change your cookie choices at any time using the cookie preferences link.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. The version in force for your project is the one published when you accepted your quote.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of the Philippines. If you are contracting with us from elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protection you have at home.
